Jim and Sally tie the knot on Folly Beach!

Sally and Jim tied the knot 2 weeks ago on May 14th at Tides Hotel on Folly. Beach themed, and Star Wars inspired, this wedding was far from ordinary. Jim and Sally like to have fun, and their idea of a good time includes offering tons of little surprises for their guests who travelled from far and wide to celebrate their special day. During the ceremony, Jim surprised Sally when he pulled a giant shark tooth out of his pocket in place of the ring. This was particularly special, as one of their favorite things to do is spend time walking the beach and collecting shark teeth together. For their first dance, they broke out into a full-on lightsaber combat concluding with Sally knocking Jim off his feet and stabbing him through the chest. During the reception, when Jim went under Sally's dress to get the garter, he pulled out a miniature Chubacha stuffed animal. Their guests laughed uncontrollably in astonishment! Their family and friends must know them well, as some of the men dressed up as the infamous 'Village People' and shocked Sally and Jim with a planned performance of the YMCA dance.
