Furry Face Muttsquerade!

This past Sunday supporters of ASPCA Charleston Animal Society gathered together for a benefit at TacoBoy Downtown to raise funds and have fun with a dog costume contest. Local businesses donated gifts for the raffle and contest prizes (Thank you Harry Barker, CandleFish, Allure Salon, Rewind, Hair Fitness, and TacoBoy).  T-shirts printed by Paul at East Cooper Sporting Goods and holiday cards (designed by me:) were sold with all proceeds going to the animal shelter. We saw costumes covering all the bases with everything from Santa Clause, to a walking taco, to Katy Perry's cupcake bra/ tutu outfit, to a pirate with Harry Potter glasses. One dog even wore pink lipstick. The contest winner was "Mischief" a shaggy mutt adorned in a Godzilla/ T-rex costume. We had so much fun and raised $606 for the ASPCA! Thank you to all of our contributors and generous donators for helping make this event happen!
