My Favorite Microwedding/Elopement Spots in Charleston

There are SO many advantages of having a microwedding or elopement and having one in the Charleston area is DEFINITELY a great choice! Microweddings are easy to plan (think less people, more fun!), you have more flexibility on where to have the ceremony/reception (you don’t need as much space), and it usually costs less (more $$$ for the honeymoon, woohoo!)

Here are some of my FAVORITE ceremony spots that would be perfect for Microweddings or Elopements:

  • Hampton Park: one of the City of Charleston's largest parks. Looking for a floral backdrop of your DREAMS? This park is IT!

  • Ion Chapel: a beautiful, intimate Lowcountry venue perfect for small microwedding celebrations.

  • Isle of Palms Beach: a sunrise/sunset beach wedding?! What more could you ask for, truly!

  • Magnolia Plantation: the Live Oak Pavilion with its sweeping oaks is the ideal setting for an intimate elopement, microwedding or small reception.

  • Restoration Hotel: there are many different spaces where you can hold your ceremony or reception in one of my favorite boutique hotels in Charleston.

  • White Point Garden: a gorgeous outdoor space perfect all year-round with its grass space, shaded by beautiful old oak trees.
