Tis the season for fuzzy socks and peppermint mocha lattes…except, here in Charleston it’s still 72 degrees and sunny! This is great news however, since it’s also December, the month of taking family photos outside for holiday cards. What better weather could we ask for than the light breezy days we’ve been gifted!?!?
I’ve got some holiday news for you and a bit of inspiration for those needing an extra dose of “you got this” to get through what could be a stressful time. Let’s be honest, not everyone’s holiday season is all Christmas trees and chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Sometimes it’s more like “I forgot to get Emily a gift, holiday cards are late, and my butt is on fire!”
For those of you who can relate, I’ve compiled a little holiday survival ‘resource guide’ if you will, to make it though this Christmas with your sanity, and your butt intact.
If the above gif looks like you trying to make holiday cookies, then you and I should have a baking party. That is a pretty accurate image of me trying to measure ingredients. Ask my husband, anything with more than 4 ingredients and I am like ” forget it.” Really though…it’s bad. haha. I did find 3 awesome recipes on Pinterest though that hit all 4 of my ‘baking’ requirements.
1. EASY. (4 ingredients or less)
2. NO BAKE.
