Where should we do our session?

 If you have a specific location in mind I am happy to travel to you within a 15 mile radius of Charleston. Outside the area will require an additional travel fee. If you are new to the area here are a few of my favorite photo session locations:  LOCATIONS

What should we wear to our session?

I recommend coordinating outfits by choosing a soft color palette like ‘tones of grey’ or ‘pastel blues’. Here’s more details and some examples: OUTFIT SUGGESTIONS

How many images come in a gallery?

Each session and wedding varies, but typically a one-hour session will include around 80-150 images. Elopements will be about 100 images. Longer weddings will include around 800-1,000 images.

When will I get to see my photos?

Turnaround time to edit a typical session will be 3 business days. Elopements take 3 business days. Longer weddings take 2 weeks. Elopements and weddings get the added perk of viewing a few ‘sneak peek’ photos 48 hours after their wedding.

Do we get a print release?

Yes! Every session, elopement and wedding includes the print release. This means you get to download the digital files and can print your photos anywhere you want!

Can we order prints from you?

Of course! The printing lab linked to your gallery has excellent quality. If you are wanting to print something in a large size (11×14 or larger) I would seriously recommend getting it professionally printed. It will ship to you in just a few days. They offer a wide variety of products including (but not limited to) loose prints, canvas wall portraits, metal prints, and custom designed albums.

Do I need two photographers?

For a typical session, no.

For weddings, I feel confident and comfortable photographing weddings by myself. I photograph 95% of my weddings alone. However, if you are having a particularly large wedding or if your wedding is at multiple venues, I recommend adding on a second shooter.

Are you licensed and insured?

Oh yes, definitely!

Should we do a first look for our wedding?

It is totally up to you! One advantage of doing a first look is that we can then complete all family + group photos before the ceremony. However, If you don’t want to see each other before the ceremony, then don’t!

How much do you charge?

Photo sessions start at $350. Wedding Collections range from $1500- $3500. I accept cash, check, Visa/Mastercard, and Venmo.

Do you require a deposit?

For sessions, no. The total amount is due on the day of the session. For wedding coverage, yes. A $500 deposit is required to lock in your wedding date. The balance is due 30 days before your wedding.
