Brett and Taryn’s wedding day was so beautiful. The glass stained windows and iron gate at the church made for great photos, not to mention the bride and groom looked so goooooooood together! Capturing the sweet moments from minutes before they said their “I DO’s” to the ceremony, and then onto their intimate cake reception, the whole wedding was so special. Old Bethel United Methodist Church is where Brett works as the sexton, and naturally, he and Taryn’s chosen venue for the wedding. During the cake reception, Brett made a heartfelt speech that brought tears to the eyes of their family as he expressed his gratitude for their support as he had gone through many struggles over the years. Brett and Taryn’s love for each other, for their family, and for their church and community touched my heart. Inspired by all the love in the air I’d like to share a favorite quote about love:
“The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds.” – The Notebook.
Yes, this quote is from the biggest chick flick of all time (the Notebook- what else?!?). These newly weds seem to have found this kind of true love. And that is a beautiful gift.
