You might remember a familiar face in this belly dancing troop. I wrote a blog post back in May featuring Robin (the one in the red skirt) when she was featured in an article for Pink Magazine. Robin asked me to capture some photos of the entire troop while they were all together for their reunion celebration. They chose the location because it was where they were celebrating the day before this shoot. At the time though, we didn’t know that the ‘photo Gods’ were going to drop down on us at Runnymede Plantation and make this a PERFECT scene to shoot in! When we arrived, fog was spreading over the oak tree field giving it an eerie feel. Crumbled stone and brick ruins made a perfect backdrop and props for posing these tribal warrior and cabaret dressed belly dancers! These ladies were so much fun to photograph and the elements and location couldn’t have been more perfect!
